Praiser Taters: Family Night of Worship, Gazelle Grounds, Free Admission, Live Music MONDAY, AUGUST 30 6 p.m. – Mini Golf Scramble: Rolling Hills Miniature Golf @ 4583 Hwy. 22, Varied Start Times, $10 Entry Fee TUESDAY, AUGUST 31 6:30 p.m. – Block Party: Stars, Stripes and Sweet Taters, Downtown Gleason, Food trucks, music, costume contest chalk art and games. Dusk: Fireworks Show WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 1 7 p.m. – Youth Bingo and Devotional: Gazelle Grounds, ages 4-17 welcome, Guest Speaker: Luke Hughes, Tumbling Creek Baptist Church THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 2 7 p.m. – Bingo and Cake Auction: Gazelle Grounds, ages 18 and older FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 3 5:30 p.m. – Community BBQ & Sweet Potato Bake-Off: Gazelle Grounds, $7 per plate, Live music by Flashback (sweet potato entries must be in cook booth by 5 p.m. for judging) SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 4 6:30 a.m. – JC Carey Memorial 5K Run: Registration in front of Gleason School; Race begins at 7 a.m. 9 a.m. – Junior Parade Registration (Gleason Lumber) 9 a.m. – Grand Parade Registration (American Legion) 10 a.m. – Parade Begins Following Parade - Vendor Fair: Gazelle Grounds, vendors, food trucks, live music by the Jordan Skoda band Antique Tractor Show: Gleason School lawn SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 5 11 a.m. – Community Worship Service: Gleason First United Methodist Church, Preacher Bro.
